The Return of the Goddess Written by Emily Cleland The era of honouring the Great Mother, the Divine Feminine is re-emerging. What does this mean? As women, we are being called. We are being called to stand up, stand strong, and stand proud in our feminine power and beauty. We are being called to come together as a Sisterhood to offer each other strength, wisdom, healing, encouragement, support and validation for our personal journeys; to come together and provide an outlet for authentic expression, a circle of understanding, an opportunity to be part of sacred ceremony and celebration. Our re-emergence is creating a world where our Divinity is recognized, our paths are honoured, and our uniqueness is celebrated. By nature we uphold the blueprint for peace, truth, justice, unconditional love, healing, kindness, generosity, strength, compassion, morality and power. How do we show up? Our strength lies in the power of our presence. Our influence is subtle yet powerful, our eyes are wise, our nature, mysterious. Our gaze is penetrating, loving and accepting. Our beauty, grace and inner light are unmistakable. We are thoughtful and caring; however our boundaries are strong. We assert our needs with authority, our desires with clarity and our dreams with certainty. We treat all people with dignity and see the value in everyone. We hold visions of the highest potential for all and challenge each person to rise and meet this. We treat one another and the world around us as we are One; inherently knowing that everything in this universe is deeply connected. We greatly respect ourselves and others by making conscious choices, taking into consideration how everyone is affected. We answer to no one, follow no doctrine, but honour and abide by the natural laws of Creation, recognizing the Divine in everything. We walk humbly and gently upon the Earth as we deeply respect our Mother and recognize we have much to learn from Her. We listen. We respond. We connect. We create. We celebrate! The Goddess lives on within each of us.
