The Roberts Court is nothing if not consistent; I’m angry but not surprised that #SCOTUS threw out Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act (#VRA). Practically speaking, the Court’s ruling ends the protection that the Voting Rights Act has provided to millions of Americans living in states that had denied them the ability to vote (and in many cases, I believe, are still trying to prevent them from voting).
