The Role of the Holy Spirit I believe that the Lord gifts us with seasons in which we feel as though we are all alone…..But we are NEVER alone….if we are ‘in Christ’ we have the blessed Comforter always with us...:) I can see that the Lord allows me to go through these seasons for me to search His Word and find the Truth. I want to share the verses with you that He has used to give me an incredible amount of confidence in knowing that I am definitely not alone. I believe that the Lord desires us to have unhindered fellowship with Him and trust that the Holy Spirit is there and that He is faithful. He is our Teacher..:) So many times mans voice can be in opposition to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us through the Word of God. It brings on much confusion, doubt and erodes our confidence when this happens. The Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us through the ministry of the Word of God. We can trust in that! And during this time of searching, because of the challenge of hearing voices trying to teach the Word to you that you believe may not be true, the Word will begin to JUMP off the page at you....when you are begging the Lord to Teach you and reveal truth to you.... your heart longs to know Truth...the Holy Spirit will amplify the Truth to you and solidify that Truth within your heart...you will KNOW that you have been taught by the Spirit...and that Truth will be SO VERY precious to you...:) And the MOST AMAZING thing is that the Holy Spirit is also a Mighty Counselor...He knows where your wounds are and He can reveal them to you and give you the healing balm found within the Word of God to heal you and give you freedom and victory over those wounds that have been holding you captive for so very long....Ask Him...:) He hears your prayers and He loves you very much...and His desire is to bring you into healing and wholeness....He is NOT going to ever give up on you!!! He is going to see you through this and you will gain the victory! Thanks be to God, who always gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! Romans 8:14-15 14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “ Abba! Father!” 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God, 13 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.
