The Roos were on fire last night at Oakleigh Indoor Sports ....1st up we had mixed div 2s play Frankston with all positions on fire ...The team shared the ball around utilising each player on court to make sure we kept the scoring up ...Lu , Brenton , Sana , Paige , Greg , Erin , Luke & Janelle have continued on their winning way with a 22 goal win. Not bad for only having played together this season :) . Next up were the mixed 1s ...What can I say about this team ...having most of the team take a rest this season ,they have been replaced & the team is just as good with a 4th Cup looking promising ! Josh injured his foot before the start of the game but kept plugging away with Katie in the defensive end to shut down one of Werribees former superstars & her goaling partners.Kaila debuted in WD with the steam train Micka in C ( Can anyone stop this man) Izzy in WA , Jessie GA & the statue of liberty in GS ( Copes ) ...20 goal win !!! Both ladies 1s & 2s played at the same time with mixed results ...The 2s played Hoppers in a battle till the last qtr where they went down by 9 ...The girls have a few new players to Fri nights with the positive being plenty of room for improvement with each game they play...Nellie , Danae , Erin , Ash , Kristy , Rachael , Lu & Sana played beautiful netball for 3 qtrs and Im sure they will be a force with a few more games under their belts... Ladies 1s were fantastic winning by 10 ! Frankston were right in it for the 1st qtr & then we made some changes ...Katie & Jessie in defence , the boss lady( Daniela ) in WD , Kaila ( our new superstar ) in C , Steph WA , Izzy GA & Rennie GS. All pistons were firing and what excites me is we had a few out for last nights game and the girls played like they had been playing together for ever !! Well done Roos , win or lose you are all superstars :)))) Lets bring home the 4 Cups campaign ! Werribee the place to play netball .... Still waiting on the baby :)
