The Root of Renunciates is a cause for happiness. Ive heard - TopicsExpress

The Root of Renunciates is a cause for happiness. Ive heard that these days some monks who entered the monkhood at an early age, are gradually abandoning the monks life. I believe that this is a mistake because having achieved this human life, specially being endowed with qualities to practice the dharma, and on top of that entering the monkhood means becoming the member of the family mandala of the Buddhas, so in a way, abandoning such an auspicious connection makes the act more seriously mistaken than other erroneous acts. Therefore, i urge all of the renunciates not act (desperately) in such a way. Also, being monk has many gifts, like temporal gift of being venerated by others or permanent gifts like achieving supreme happiness in future. In other word, present and future becomes more meaningful for the renunciates. On a contrary, if one abandons such life and keeps wandering then life become meaningless. Basically speaking, everyone wants to be happy and nobody desires suffering. So if you are seeking happiness then there is a necessity to practice the dharmic path, which eventually leads to liberation and complete awakening states. Generally, anyone can practice the dharma but in case of renunciates, they are like a member included in the mandala of the buddhas family, so they have to overcome shortcomings like distractions and get their focus right on the track to achieve noble happiness ( awakening). Well, if it cannot be done completely, then-At least- its of utmost importance to preserve and live a dignified life of an obedient monk.
