The SCTP meeting in Myrtle Beach was very successful with over a 1000 Tea Party conservatives. Issues and opportunities covered the whole spectrum. But the real talk across the board was how Article V can make a difference. States forcing Congress to live within its means via the Balanced Budget Amendment and being able to FIRE the IRS and scrap the federal tax code for a FAIRTAX Amendment, had everyone wanting to work together and get this done. By stopping the reckless spending and getting the special interests out of the tax system, we can get to the root of so many other issues.
