PM SAYS OFFSHORE PETROLEUM SECTOR MUST BE DEVELOPED Prime Minister Freundel Stuart has defended the mechanism introduced by government to adjust petroleum prices on a monthly basis, in keeping with international trends. He says it is working and the benefits are being passed onto consumers. His comments follow criticism that while the price of oil has dropped on the international market, Barbadians have not been seeing the difference. The Prime Minister says the time has come for the offshore petroleum sector to be developed.
