The Saint of Shegav by Ramesh Deshpande Remembering His sweet name That is like a veritable flame Removes right away the past crime As He, sets all the faults aflame. One call from the depth of heart By a distressed devotee steadfast Will make Him attentive and act To thwart away the problem, fast. One finds Him holding a big pipe Where He burns devotees’ sins ripe And inhales their problems all type Thus clears the smoke from their life. Thus is my dear Lord from Shegav Who constantly pays enough attention To all the worries devotees mention And clear their path of upward motion. I am never tired of praising my Lord Who ever smilingly takes the lead To protect and act as devotees’ shield He boldly asserts always his warm hold.
