The San Jose Giants pounded out a season-high 19 hits and scored their largest margin of victory this year with a 13-0 shutout of the Lake Elsinore Storm on Wednesday evening at The Diamond. The victory guarantees San Jose (71-64) their 11th consecutive winning season while the Giants remain two games back of Visalia (73-62) in the North Wild Card race. Five games are left in the regular season. Brian Ragira (5-for-5, 2B, HR, 5 RBI) capped a perfect five-hit night with a grand slam in the top of the eighth to lead the offensive barrage. Ragiras five hits tied a San Jose Giants single-game record. Daniel Carbonell (4-for-5, 2B, 2 SB) added four hits while Chuckie Jones (3-for-5, RBI) produced three hits for the Giants.
