The Schumann Resonance is an Extrememly Low Frequency (ELF) wave - TopicsExpress

The Schumann Resonance is an Extrememly Low Frequency (ELF) wave that exists naturally in the space that exist between the Earths surface and its Ionosphere. This resonance vibrates at a pulse of 7.83 hertz (cycles). This frequency waves and its harmonics at 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hz form the Schumann Resonances. To further explain it, think about a playground swing, which acts as a pendulum. Wikipedia says, Pushing a person in a swing in time with the natural interval of the swing (its resonance frequency) will make the swing go higher and higher (maximum amplitude), while attempts to push the swing at a faster or slower tempo will result in smaller arcs.
