The SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund has helped support the redesign and engineering of new collars for the Painted Dog Conservation Project (PDC). The painted dogs will be sporting light-weight protective collars equipped with reflective material so they are more visible to motorists, and a steel plate to protect the dog’s throat. Rivets on the collar help to catch the wire and guide it to the plate while specially-designed clips hold the wire and provide a point where the wire can be broken, setting the dog free!!
