The Semi Final matches in Div 1, Div 2 & Div 3 were all completed yesterday evening and the Finalists for Friday are as follows:- 4:30 p.m. Ladies Club Championship Christine Studholme vs. Hilary Hibbert 4:45 p.m. Men’s Division 3 Club Championship Rod Duckworth vs. Craig Smith 5:00 p.m. Men’s Division 2 Club Championship Andrew Wills (Snr) vs. Nigel Groves 5:15 p.m. Men’s Club Championship Andrew Brindle vs. Matthew Smith More good weather is forecast or Friday with 24 deg C at 4 p.m. cooling just slightly to 23 deg C at 7 p.m. so smother yourselves in sun cream, slip on the shades and shorts and come and watch what I’m sure will be some excellent golf. Dress code is as you would wear if you went to any other golf tournament in 24 deg C of sunshine. The only restriction is that you can’t wear what one might consider as ‘beach wear’ (i.e. flip flops and no socks) inside the clubhouse, but who wants to be sat indoors in this weather anyway, so just relax and enjoy the evening on the patio.
