The Seminole County Sheriffs Office is asking the public for any information about a homicide which occurred this morning at 7334 Fieldcrest Avenue in Winter Park. At approximately 3 a.m. deputies responded to the residence after receiving a call about a disturbance and shots fired. Arriving deputies found Stephen Beglare, 44, injured inside the residence. He was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries. Investigators determined that Beglare and his wife were inside their home when she awoke to a disturbance and additional subjects inside the residence. She ran to a neighbor’s home and law enforcement was called. She was not injured during the incident. The subjects involved fled the area. A description of the subjects is not available for release at the present time. SCSO is aggressively investigating this case and following up on leads. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeLine at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477)
