The Senate of the University of Malaya during its meeting on the 24th of July requested that I start a petition to be signed by all academicians, staff and students in IPTs throughout the country to express our outrage and condemn the above atrocities by Israel. Neutrality and silence in the face of such ongoing and irrefutable barbaric crimes is not an option. The time to be silent is over and the time to speak out is here.
