The Sheppey Festival, a message from Andrew Deeley Town Team (Chairmam) It is with great regret that the festival planned for the 20th Sept has to be cancelled. We were unsuccessful in gaining a license for the live music stage for the public space in Beechfields. The live music stage was a key element of the event and without it those organising the event on behalf of the Town Team and certain key exhibitors felt that the lack of this attraction would be detrimental to the overall success. I am sorry to announce the cancellation but I would like to thank Stuart Pardoe and Matt Brown for their hard work and offer my personal apologies to those who had committed to support the event. There is Promenade event planned in Sheerness High St on the same day and were pleased that some of those who were supporting the event have agreed to move into the High St. The Town Team have 25 trading spaces for stalls available on this date and so if you were planning a stall in Beechfields on the 20th Sept, then you are more than welcome to contact me to make arrangements to take one of these Free of Charge for the day (subject to availability).
