The Simpsons is one sad show, and Marge is, by far, the saddest character ever. And there are a LOT of Marge Simpsons out there. Marge is chronically depressed, has high anxiety, and zero self esteem. She loves Homer, sure, but is it enough? Shes with him because of the kids. Worst decision ever to stay with someone. Oh god, Marge! What are you doing! She obviously had dreams, but theyve been crushed, and now little in life brings her joy. She just... settles. That isnt living! She needs to soar. She needs to shine. She needs to hem that green dress, ditch the red flats, let her hair down, tell Homer she deserves her happiness, and walk out! No. Run out! Sadly, shed have to be without the kids for a few months, but only because she needs to do her for a while. She needs to build herself back up to the vibrant, attractive woman she no doubt used to be. Maybe go to Europe and find some guy who takes care of himself, and celebrates her femininity. But dont let him tie her down either! Wherever she ends up, she certainly needs a good, casual lay. Date around for a while, get a good job, then get her kids.
