The Smoky Mermaid (Bar & Grill) Restaurant is directly across from the main entrance to the Radison Fort George Hotel in Belize City. They have outdoor covered seating and a very nice gift shop last I checked. Above the Mermaid is The Great House - perhaps the best place to stay in the Tourist Village Area. Next door, to the right of the Mermaid, is a delicious pastry & cofffee shop that opens early. Enjoy your stay!
