The Sod of Omer (traduction Moriah Sebbah ): 49 days of the Omer - TopicsExpress

The Sod of Omer (traduction Moriah Sebbah ): 49 days of the Omer divide Pessah from Shavuot. Why counting 49 days, would it only be the preparation of reception of Torah during Shavuot? Or, as we have already learned it : “to hear and grasp what we perceived during the exit from Egypt and the crossing of the Sea” (Essence of the Torah I). In reality, there is a specific teaching to the count of the Omer. According to the Arizal, the mohin – the divine flows (lit. the brains) that we received during the night of Pessah evaporated the day after, we therefore have to re-take them back gradually during 7 weeks – 49 degrees – steps to the supreme Wisdom. Nothing is free, it will require effort. This teaching reveals an undeniable secret. That what we are about to receive in our lives (gradually) was already bestowed upon us and ready during our birth (symbolism of the exit from Egypt). What we will acquire thru effort and personal work during our history, was already omnipresent during the descent of the soul before camouflaging in the body. Our effort does not lead to the effects in our lives, but it is rather the divine flow met and revealed that leads to the tribulations of time. Our effort (hishtadlut) is only the imposition of the human gender, which is our contribution to the reparation of the society. Our effort only removes the veil (massakh) that was concealing our tiqqun and our happiness. Let’s be nevertheless aware that everything proceeds from only One Will (Essence of the Torah II).
