The South African Catholic Bishops’ Conference (SACBC), whose Justice and Peace, Southern African Catholic Bishops Conference. Commission is a member of Pax Christi, joined a Catholic dioceses’ initiative on “16 days of activism against gender-based violence”. Various activities are foreseen in an attempt to raise awareness on gender-based violence as a human rights issue at local, national, regional and international level. Read more below.
