The SouthSide is still here, pretty clean too, if only our city council man would advocate for us and put some of those community development funds towards cleaning up our alleys and some much needed repairs or expansions to our streets, like Crane street from Pool Rd to 2nd street, one of the Entradas para el Barrio, the Odessa Developement Corp. hasnt done anything to develop and attract any major chains like Pizza Hut, Sonic, or any auto or lumber stores to So Grant street, untill lately 70,000 in funding was approved to the Hispanic Chamber to help develop bussiness ties with Mexico, but you cant do much with 70,000, thats a token of disrespect and God knows what the Hispanic chamber is thinking of doing in respect to Chihuahua,Mexico, more trade to benefit the rich, what about us citizens having to travel in the middle of the night across 42nd to buy a piece of pipe or grab a bite to eat, Dairy Queen and Dollar store i suppose is good enough!
