Idalou fell victim to the Lynx punishing rushing of Beau Brown who had 33 touches, 282 yards and four touchdowns. Idalou maintained pace with the Lynx for the first twelve minutes but failed to keep stride in the second and third quarters and were scoreless. Idalou Coach Jeff Lofton said, Those guys did a great job of three yards and a cloud of dust. He continued by saying that the Wildcats defensive plan had been to make them snap it again and ....enough times then maybe theyd mess up and make a mistake, but they did a good job of not making those mistakes. The Lynx used big chunks of the clock by running the ball methodically down the field and held the ball for over 18 minutes in the second half
