The St. Croix Theatre Company, Inc. has been busy lately. It is my pleasure to announce that planning regarding our 2015 programming schedule is well underway. This is what we’ve been up to in the last few weeks: 1) We recently held a Board of Directors meeting. Anthony Enman is our Board Chair, and Ella Goulding, Joan McKnight, Rod Roy, Jeremy Reid, Bill Breuer, and Annabelle Juneau are our current Board of Directors members. 2) We have opened a dialogue with both Ganong Nature Park staff, and SS BIA/Chocolate Fest Events staff, regarding a potential dinner theatre to be held at the Nature Park next summer, during our very own Chocolate Fest. Subsequent meetings will take place in Jan 2015 to further discuss the details of this exciting brand new event. 3) We have met with SSHS staff in order to work towards presenting continued productions at the SSHS auditorium. We are in the process of planning a Fall 2015 full-length production at the SSHS auditorium. 4) We have contacted SS Library staff regarding the possibility of delivering a Theatre Camp for youth next Spring/Summer 2015. Discussion regarding this project is ongoing. 5) We are in the process of writing our very own full-length musical. 6) We have (FINALLY) found storage space! The SS Volunteer Fire Department has graciously offered to provide a new home for our worldly possessions. SCTC items (props, costumes, set pieces) will be inventoried and transported to our new home in the coming weeks. Thank you to Jeff Richardson, Jeannie Lindsay, and Ralph Williams for assisting with this endeavour. Thank you also to those folks who have stored our items up to this point.
