The Stand Up To Cancer “Dream Team” focused on epigenetics announced today that it had received additional funding from the Van Andel Research Institute to continue its work. MSK physician-scientist and lung cancer specialist Charles Rudin is a member of the research team, which focuses on developing new cancer therapies that are based on epigenetics -- the mechanisms in cells that control whether genes are turned off or but don’t change the DNA sequence.
