The Stars have acquired Brooks Belter from BCL team The Shinano Grandserows. Some of you may remember Brooks as he pitched for Shinano when they beat the Stars on opening night. He also pitched in the Frontier League last year, finishing with a 10-3 record and an impressive 3.52 era. Before that he pitched for Hudson Valley, an affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, of which he was drafted in the 25th round out of Occidental college. With Hudson Valley he sported a 3-2 record with a 3.58 era. He is expected to join the team when they are in California. Speaking of which, the Stars last home game until July 11th is tomorrow!
