The Stony Plain Mets had their season end on Saturday afternoon at the hand of the Edmonton Blackhawks but it wasnt with some excitement. Down 4-0 with two outs in the bottom of the 7th with two runners on base, PH Kyle Geinger would take a Matt Kukovica deep to the 330 mark. Blackhawks LF David Schneider would make a terrific running catch up against the wall for the last out of the Mets 2014 season. It also prevented the Mets, who scored a league high 157 runs in the regular season, from scoring a single run in their two playoff games. The Blackhawks will now await the winner of the Camrose Axemen vs Westlock Red Lions series.
