The Story of Exodus, part 2 "Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph. And he said to his people, "Behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us. Come let us deal shrewdly with them, lest they multiply, and, if war breaks out, they join our enemies and fight against us and escape from the land." Now just from the above bible passage, we can learn that Pharaoh was representing the Devil. For any other voice that is contrary to the voice of God, i.e. a voice against God and that is the Devil. We know that in Genesis 1 vs 28 God commanded man; "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it........" Now if the Pharaoh is devising plans to fight the commandment of God, to try and stop the multiplication that God commanded, then we know that Pharaoh is of the devil. Brothers & Sisters, any voice that is contrary to the Word of God, any voice that is violating the commandments of God, is surely coming from the Devil, the anti Christ, and is trying to keep you in Egypt. Call upon the Lord, strong and mighty, to deliver you from Egypt. Now that we have established that "Pharaoh is of the Devil, and all his devices and conduct are an affront to the Word of God, let us ask the following; Who are the Pharaohs in your life? Where are they using you to go against the Word of God? Please note that you can easily identify the Pharaohs in your life by examining areas where you are violating the Word of God. In Egypt, the Pharaoh did not just think or plot as highlighted above, he moved to implement his evil devices to stop the multiplication of the people of Israel. "Then the king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives.......When you serve as a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them on their birth stool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live." As you can see, this is a commandment that is trying to negate the great commandment of God Almighty.. "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it........" Any voice, any commandment that is contrary to the Word of God is indeed from the Devil. So my brothers & sisters be conformed to the Word of God, to the Commandments of God. The first step towards your victory against the Pharaohs in your life is to unmask them....if they are asking you to violate the Word of God, they are not for you!!!
