The Tecumseh Trail will have a temporary reroute south of SR 45. The reroute began on April 9, 2014 when the timber company was scheduled to start the timber harvest. The timber sale was in August of 2013 and the timber company has two years to complete the harvest. Timber harvest is always dependent on weather conditions. So the trail section involved could be closed until late this summer and hikers must use the temporary route from SR 45 to Salmeron Road, which is less than 2 miles. Another sale just south of the same area could close the trail for a longer time.
