In February, DCI-Palestine documented several cases involving Palestinian children who received calls to their mobile phones from Israeli intelligence officers. The officers demanded the children report for questioning the following morning. In each case, children were taken into custody, denied access to a lawyer, and interrogated without the presence of a family member. All children experienced some form of ill-treatment. A total of 230 Palestinian children were arrested and prosecuted in the Israeli military system during February.
