The Test of Integrity Daniel 6:4-5 New International Version - TopicsExpress

The Test of Integrity Daniel 6:4-5 New International Version (NIV) 4 At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. 5 Finally these men said, “We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.” I pray you can honestly be able to evaluate yourself in the mirror of God’s word without hedging or rationalizing anything (Heb. 4:12-13). May you know that integrity is possible when success embraces you in the corridors of power (Dan. 6:4) and that your response to its test will determine the kind of influence you will bring to bear on your family, Church, community, nation, and the world around you; and may you recognize that your Christian testimony is always at stake in your responses and they amount to your actual praise and worship of God! So, enjoy your success, but let integrity continue to be your constant companion.
