The Thompson Blazers are gearing up for preseason action which begins this weekend, September 7th & 8th. The Blazers practice twice (Tues & Wed at 3:30pm @ Memorial Arena) this week before heading to Mission, BC on Saturday (7pm Game against NW Giants) and then to Abbottsford, BC on Sunday (2pm Game against Vancouver Canadians). The Blazers enter preseason carrying 28 players with 2 additional registered players still with their respective WHL teams. These include Nick Chyzowski (Kamloops Blazers) and Max James (Tri-City Americans). The Thompson Blazers will be down to their required 20 player roster by September 15th. September 15th will also be the day the Thompson Blazers anticipate having their new dressing room and storage area completed at Memorial Arena in Kamloops, BC. These are very exciting times for the hockey club as they move forward with their newly structured program.
