The Tipton and 4-H community is very saddened by the news of the death of Lora Sottong-Gibson on Wednesday, November 11 after a tragic car accident. Lora was the mother of 4-H alumni Kristen and Morgan Bitner, and current 4-Her Molly Bitner. The Blue Ribbon Chasers 4-H Club is creating a scholarship fund that will be given to the girls. Contributions will be taken until 4 pm on Monday, November 10. If you would like to contribute a gift, please make a check out to Tipton County 4-H Council, with Bitner Scholarship in the memo line. Checks may be dropped off or sent to the Extension Education Center, 1200 S Main Street, Tipton, 46072. Please keep the Sottong, Bitner, and Gibson families in your thoughts and prayers.
