The Transition Life is a journey of transition from the moment - TopicsExpress

The Transition Life is a journey of transition from the moment we are born. We are birthed from the protection and nourishment of our mother’s wombs into a vast expanse of life. We are dependent on others for our care as we grow and develop. We learn to walk as we learned to crawl -- each a step in transition. We learn to talk, laugh, and cry as we transition into communicating our thoughts and feelings. Our bodies grow and develop as a prearranged timetable dictates. And our mind becomes increasingly thoughtful and inquisitive as it responds to the outward stimulus of others. We continue in the transition from accepting others words versus formulating our own thoughts, opinions, and beliefs. We transition and mature because we have no choice. The opposite, the flip side of maturing, is to become stagnant and sedentary. After any living thing reaches full maturity, it will begin to die. It will decrease from its full capacity of strength and life. It is the natural transition of life. The length of time that we as humans remain at full maturity, at the height of our usefulness, depends solely on our source of life. Self-dependent strength and life lose the battle much faster. You see, they do not choose the great Sustainer of life, choosing instead to bask in their self-made importance. They find life’s transition fleeting at best, with a rapid descent fed by selfishness. They transition into death. The journey of the Christian, though not always easy, is a journey of transition from life to life! There is no way to top that!
