The Traverse City Guitar Company has a full complement of instructors for every age, personality or learning style. They teach everything from guitar to voice and even keyboard. We offer lessons Monday through Saturday with lessons usually lasting 30 minutes in length at $20.00 per lesson. Currently we are running a special for new students, when you pay for 4 lessons, you will get one for free. Let’s introduce you to one of 5 of our instructors. Angelo Meli was born in Detroit and attended Michigan State University and The Berklee College of Music in Boston. His experience ranges from the folk club experience in Detroit, rock and roll in Boston, Latin band and studio work in Florida. In Michigan, he has performed with backup bands to the Drifters, The Coaster, The Platters and The Marvellettes. He performs frequently with a variety of groups including the blues band, The Corvairs, as well as The Neptune Quartet and Jazz North. He also performs solo weekly at Oryana.
