The Twilight saga teaches young girls that the most important thing in life, and the only thing that matters, is to have a boyfriend. It also teaches that women are no more than objects for men to fight over and claim as their property. Adolescent girls are reading this shit, idolizing it, taking this as a representation of what is supposed to be considered erotic. Stephanie Meyer is a monster, who has been profiting off of destroying the minds of young women, and teaching boys that it is okay to be overly aggressive past any point of comfort, to take what they believe they deserve and ignore any rejection or protest. So the next time someone asks Whats so wrong with Twilight? Etc. THIS is whats wrong with it. It is the opposite of progress toward social equality. It is just plain degrading to everyone.
