The U.S. House of Representatives voted to move forward for the first time in our history today to file a lawsuit against President Obama for delaying the employer mandate in the Affordable Care Act. The cost of the lawsuit has been estimated at $5 million. Thats $5 million of our tax dollars. They have one more day of work before taking a 5 week vacation. We still have no vote on the humanitarian crisis on the border. No vote on fixing the VA. No vote to increase the minimum wage. No vote on immigration reform. And so many more. The employer mandate is a component of #Obamacare the GOP opposed and voted on numerous times to repeal. Additionally, President Bush changed dates of implementation on components of Medicare Part D several times. Does anyone recall a lawsuit? This article gives a good overview of whats behind the lawsuit and what happens next.
