The UCC Justice and Witness and Ministries and the Council on Racial and Ethnic Ministries (COREM) want to engage local UCC congregations in faith work to promote policies and programs that give people the opportunity to attain their full health potential. This involves looking at societal determinants of health which are defined as conditions in the social, physical, and economic environment in which people are born, live, work, and age. Promoting Health Equity is a framework and a lens through which a congregation can apply to any justice issue that it works on. Take the survey here:
