The UCI International Development Camp for mountain biking is coming to a close at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland. It was fantastic to be approached by the UCI to deliver the coaching to riders and provide coach development to coaches from Azerbaijan, Australia, Italy, Ireland, Argentina and Namibia. Over the last two weeks Rab has delivered Dirt School content to these riders and the improvement has been notable. Yesterday the riders had the opportunity to compete in the World Cycling Centre team kit at La Barillette, a 33km point to point cross country race finishing at La Barillette summit of 1500m. The performances were great, as you can see in the images. Rab even made the podium in the eliminator following 5th in the Point to Point. This was a great step forward for mountain biking at the World Cycling Centre and it is a privilege to bring mountain biking along side the other Olympic cycling disciplines of road, track and BMX coached at the WCC.
