The US Government just demobilized from two massive wars, it has literally hundreds of tons of surplus military clothing and gear in storage and being surplused out as we sit here. With that in mind, WHY is the Government of Canada, a country with a relatively tiny military, sending more surplus gear than the US ever has to Ukraine? The US promised to train a few units of border guards...who will be unable to patrol part of their own border because the army and volunteer battalions do not have the gear and training, that could have been provided by the US, in order to push Russia out of Ukraine. However, as an apparent Obama supporter, please tell us why the US is allowing Ukraine to bleed and go without basic supplies? Why is it still vital for volunteers to fundraise privately for basic medical supplies for the troops, when this gear would be a no-brainer part of the supplies given by OTHER US Presidents to our allies in a time of need? Why is the President disinterested in Ukraine and apparently hiding under his desk to avoid the whole topic of foreign policy? Obamas words in one of his endless line of overblown speeches is not enough, it was never enough. Forty men just got killed at the Donetsk Airport and the airport itself has just fallen to the Russians, after 240 days of non-stop fighting. The Airport is Ukraines version of Khe Sanh or the Alamo. And the US just stood by while a bunch of really good and tough men got killed, some of whom may have shed blood with US forces in Iraq...because they came to Iraq when we, their ally, called for support. Flush out your headgear, dude. This president is a walking embarrassment to the US. A real leader, a real man, would have at least had the compassion to put someone smart in charge of this policy if he did not want to handle it himself.
