The US has never seen anything like ISIS before. That is essentially what Secretary Chuck Hagel told America in his news conference last week. Well folks, it aint true. I have mentioned before that ISIS was formerly known as Al Qaeda in Iraq. Its leader was Abu Mossab al Zarqawi. He was killed in 2006 by a drone strike. This was not a failure on the part of the US Intelligence Community as the Obama administration is trying to say. We have been watching these people for a decade so there are no surprises here. The reality is that the Obama administration ignored this threat because it did not want to admit that Al Qaeda was stronger than ever and growing since they had pounded their chests and crowed over the killing of Bin Laden. Remember the false narrative that was being pushed GM is alive and Bin Laden is dead. AQ is on the run. That was all deception and propaganda. This terrorist group is not new but it does have 3 rather interesting characteristics: 1. ISIS is very wealthy due to black market oil sales from their 9 or so oil wells. Also from their criminal activities like kidnapping, bank robbery, and extortion. And finally, they are getting big dollars from the Gulf States, Saudi, Qatar, and UAE. 2. ISIS is recruiting more western Jihadists that any other terror group so far. Because of their wealth and popularity with the mid east and muslim media, they are attracting many Americans (at least 100 so far), and maybe thousands of Europeans. Remember that when these people have finished fighting in Iraq and Syria, they will return home on their passports from their home nations and will become members of terror cells at home. Eventually they will conduct major terrorist operations all over Europe and the US. 3. ISIS is well armed and equipped for combat. They have the money to buy what they need and they have taken huge stockpiles of US equipment that was take by their fighters when it was abandoned by the government forces of Iraq. Let me say again, this is a serious threat. Something is coming soon. Pray that we see it and stop it. America is vulnerable right now because we have no leadership and because we have become so lawless that we are allowing evil to prevail in America as well as other parts of the world. I for one am praying for God to protect this nation and to awaken us before many more Americans are killed by these evil barbarians...
