The USACE Whitney Lake office is partnering with Lake Whitney State Park this Saturday, September 28, 2013 for National Public Lands Day. Everyone is invited to attend and the State Park will waive entrance fees for day-use visitors. Programs will also be offered throughout the day! Programs include: 9am-12pm Learn-to-Fish Event 1pm White-tailed Wonderland Interpretive Talk 2pm Water Safety Workshop with USACE Skip A Rock with a Ranger Q&A Session 3:30pm Arts in the Parks Haiku Workshop For more information call 254-622-3332.
