The song was written by Lin Xi, a leading lyricist and outspoken activist, and sung by singers who have the guts to stand up to authorities despite implications on their careers. Ive been listening to it non-stop since it was released late last night. The video is moving even for those who dont understand Cantonese -- the sentiment is so universal you dont need to. But I translated the lyrics anyway.
