The Undergraduate Commerce Society, in collaboration with PwC, is happy to present students with an opportunity to give back to our local community by creating care packages to the Red Door Shelter. On July 12th at the UTM campus, we ask that you bring in AT LEAST 3 items from the list given below to donate to the Red Door Shelter. Using these items, we will be sorting and assembling packages for individuals of our community. Working alongside PwC representatives in a non-formal setting, this event provides an excellent opportunity to familiarize you with the firm and leaves a lasting impression before fall recruitment begins. When: July 12th 2013, 12:30pm – 2:30pm Location: Council Chambers What to bring: The current needs of the shelter are the following. Please bring AT LEAST 3 of the items from the list below: • New and gently used household items: cups, mugs, cutlery, etc. • New and gently used and laundered sheets and towels • New Undergarments: Underwear, Socks, for men, women, and children • New Toiletries: shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby wipes, diapers, feminine products. • New and gently used seasonal clothing for all ages • Non-perishable food Please note: We cannot accept used toys, stuffed animals, used undergarments, used books, VHS movies, and items that are broken or in need of repair. Dress Code: Casual Applications (i.e. completion of the form) are due on July 7th. Due to the high demand of this event and the limited spots available, a selection process will be used and applications will be read thoroughly. Students to whom an invitation is extended will be contacted via email (please make sure to check your Junk Mails as well).
