The United States of America was founded on principles such as Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, and was intended to support ideals such as Equality, Justice for ALL, and Democracy. However, since they have acquired the status of people, corporations seem to think that their happiness depends entirely on the bottom line, and they are entitled to maximize their profits by any means necessary, including denying Equality and Justice to their workers, who must work for poverty wages and be reduced to living like slaves. Will fast-foods corporations follow the example of Ebenezer Scrooge and decide to pay their workers wages that allow them to live above poverty? Democracy is meaningless if it doesnt include economic democracy. Please, sign the petition.
