The University of Benin is having its convocation ceremony, and only one Nigerian television station is broadcasting it; NTA. This is non-reflective of a Nigeria who sought her independence via the shackles-breaking power of education. What do we have now? Instead of the illiterate marketer envying the Educated scholar, the Educated scholar now strongly envies the illeterate Marketer. And until we continue to be materialistic, Nigerian would drown in debt so much that our easy revenue, the crude oil, will all be purchased long before it will be exhausted from our earthcrust. The media has a large role to play in advancing the joy and fruits of Education. If not........
