The University of Cincinnati isnt a top 25 public research university that just happens to be in Cincinnati. We have a profound responsibility to help elevate the city that is our home...the city we are privileged to include in our name. Our fortunes, our futures are inextricably linked. And thus, we must be a pillar institution in our community. Beyond contributing to the knowledge economy, our work must positively impact the health, welfare and standing of all Cincinnati citizens, whether or not they have a connection to UC.
