The Uplifting Word/Matthew 11. Jesus goes to Galilee to teach & preach. John asks him if he is the one(Messiah)who is to come? or should we look for another? Jesus answered John with what they had seen, the deaf hear, the blind see, dead raised to life, & the good news is spread, “God blessed those who do not turn away from me.”. V3-6. “This generation is like children playing games in the public square, they complain, we played & you did not dance, played funeral songs & you did not mourn. You accused John the Baptist of having a demon & me(Jesus) of being a glutton, drunk, a friend of sinners & tax collectors”. V 16-18 & 25-30. Insight: Isn’t it good that Jesus was a friend of sinners, if not we would be lost..Thank you Jesus for loving sinners(us).
