The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Promo Poster Analysis: The tagline says ”Blood lines are torched. Battle lines are drawn” which means this will definitely be doppelgangers season and the doppelgangers will stick around. Now, Silas is shown touching fire in the water while we can clearly see his reflection – Stefan, who is drowning on the bottom of the lake. No worries though, our favorite good brother will be back soon enough. What strikes us the most is how Elena, Damon and Katherine are shown. Elena is glorious in a crimson red see-through skirt overshadowing human Katherine in the back, but also turning her back to Damon. It seems Katherine will manage to come between them two as she is shown standing in the middle…On the right sight we can see Caroline and Tyler standing close to each other so we guess we’ll see more of Forwood and Jeremy is staying close to Ghostly-looking Bonnie. It was speculated that Matt is getting an important story these season so it is not surprising to see him on the middle of the poster. We hope his story is a good one! He deserves it.
