The Veteran Access to Care Act of 2014, of which I am an original cosponsor, passed in the House today with bipartisan support. It would allow vets who are experiencing long waits to get an appointment at the VA and those who live in a rural area away from VA medical facilities, to access care through private medical providers in their communities. These veterans should not have to wait a moment longer to receive healthcare.
