The Viaporin Tuoppi (rough translation: "the pint of Suomenlinna") is the biggest event for wooden sailing boats in the Nordic countries. This year there is a really good participation from Russia and Estonia. If you want to admire the boats, you can do so without a boat of your own. The race course is in the middle of Helsinki and great places to watch the race can be found along the southern shores of Helsinki, on Suomenlinna and on the islands such as Harakka, Särkkä and Klippan.
