The Walk of Faith II Corinthians 2:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight. A contract is a written or spoken agreement, covenant, understanding, or commitment between parties. Each party commits to do something in order for the contract to be binding. Jesus has already placed His signature in blood on the contract by His word. The believer enters into contract with God when he agrees with God, obeys God, and prays God’s word in faith. Two reasons contracts go unfulfilled in the believer’s life: they do not know what God’s word say about their situation, therefore they cannot pray God’s word or doubt and unbelief (the enemies of faith) enters into the heart and they do not stand firm exercising persistence in their request. The walk of faith is not something you see with your natural eye, if it was it would not be faith. Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Faith pleases God. God walks hand and hand with you until you see what has already happened in the spirit realm begins to happen in your life. God cannot, He will not, go against His word. Remind him by saying, “Father, you said, …” and then say what he said, then take your stance with expectation that it will happen for you. Scripture References: Amos 3:3; Hebrews 11:1 & 6; Prayer for today: Father, I believe, please help my unbelief. Help me, I pray, to stand firm upon your word and not waver. In JESUS name, AMEN. Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day. Love Dianne
